A Lecture from Sheila S. (6th Grade Humanities Teacher)

March 24, 2008

Welcome, I’m Sage, and here comes an extremely long lecture that began with Emperor Qin Shi-Huangdi. Enjoy!!!
-Sage :)

“It is through the toil of the people that created cultural advancement of society. The beauty of the work is from the workers. Your ancestors and my ancestors…Shakespeare wasn’t born great, as he said, ‘ some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.’ …. We the people that form the culture, whatever you do for your lives is for your fulfillment. Not like Emperor Qin” (see, now she mentions him again….) “For your culture, yourself, your family…the importance od what we do is tough, history is not a dead subject!! … THE GREEK GOT IT RIGHT!! WE’RE THE WRITERS, WE’RE THE THIINKERS”

-Sheila S.
