There is an endless list of artists that nobody knows about. Personally, I hate the pop culture singers… *cough cough MILEY CYRUS! JONAS BROTHERS cough cough* Sorry, I have a cold. Anyways, here’s a list of some AMAZING artists that fellow blog-clubbers enjoy:
REGINA SPEKTOR- A great alternative artist orginally from Russia, Regina has a great sense for “randomness,” in her lyrics and she has great beats in her songs. Look up: Regina Spektor-On the Radio, That Time, Fidelity and Edit
FLUNK- Sort of a mix of electronic, rock and alternative music, the Norwegian band really has a great sense for erie and different music. Look up: Flunk-Blue Monday
YAEL NAIM- My god this girl knows how to rock, er, alternatively rock. You’ve probably all heard her hit “New Soul” from the MacBook Air commercial, but check out her whole album. Originally Isreali and French, this unique girl is launching to the top of the iTunes charts, and her career is just beggining…

I enjoyed your review. Thanks for the heads-up on Regina Spektor; she’s an artist I had never heard of before (“That Time” is now one of my favorite new songs). If you don’t already know them you’d probably like Chan Marshall (Cat Power) and Hope Sandoval (Bavarian Fruit Bread and Mazzy Star) – and might I recommend Tarnation?
