Waiting for Our Eggs

The Kindergarteners patiently waited for the Trout Unlimited representative to arrive with their trout eggs, but — alas — the school day ended before the reps arrived! We decided to see if the students had any questions about the Trout in the Classroom project. Naturally, they did! Click below to hear their questions (requires Quicktime):

    Hi Kindergarten class!
What great questions you had! I work with salmon and trout in my job, and you asked some questions I wondered as an adult when I first started studying fish and what they need. Your trout are going to have a very interesting and unique life cycle. It’s good that you know how it starts and how sensitive these fish are. The cold temperatures are really critical for them to survive and spawn. Thanks for taking such great care of some special fish!
