This project sounds like a fun one that the kids can learn from in multiple ways! This gives me a couple of ideas of projects I can do with my own kids. :)

This just transforms learning. I am trying to figure out how I could use this in my teaching.. I teach dyslexic students to read better. It might be a tool for us to measure progress. Thank you for getting me excited about podcasts. Happy fishing.

Dear Kindergarten and 6th grade friends,

It was like watching a miracle of nature to see you send off your fingerlings! They all seemed so at home in their new, much larger swimming pool, and I"m sure will be so happy as they eat and grow. Will you be able to go back and see them again?

You are so fortunate to have had this project to watch. So are the trout lucky to have you!

Wow how cool seeing all those fish in the tank. They all hatched from eggs and then you released them at Lagunitas Lake. Isn't science fun!

Hi Kindergarten class!
What great questions you had! I work with salmon and trout in my job, and you asked some questions I wondered as an adult when I first started studying fish and what they need. Your trout are going to have a very interesting and unique life cycle. It's good that you know how it starts and how sensitive these fish are. The cold temperatures are really critical for them to survive and spawn. Thanks for taking such great care of some special fish!

This song is awesome! I like the part about the temperature. Did you know that about 55 degrees is the perfect temperature for trout like yours?
Is it possible to see the lyrics while you hear the song so you can sing along?

Wow! What a great song! I work with trout and salmon up in Humboldt County, and I just might have to sing this one to the fish that I see in the field.

A neat little video with the fish dancing around the tank and appropriate music. Overall, a very impressive site and good examples of activities. Well done!!
